Question about Cars & Trucks
Leaking frost plug between the gearbox and the motor. I have removed everything around the gear box the drive and have taken off most of the bolts holding the gearbox to the motor. But there seems to be a bolt hanging on and I cannot part the box from the motor. There seems to b a bolt on the inside by the firewall . I need to find this bolt or bolts to release the gearbox. Can anyone help please

if it welll welded than you ahve to remove also your gear box,
so try to buy with set in engine +gearbox,
yes you guess excatly its connected with bolted wheel with drive system,
yes its bolted,
Dear you have to choose the engine that recoonect your old gear box cause some model have some specifications that never matched up & having problem with this same you have,
so try to buy some similar engine which can easily connect to your gear box
or if you bought already a 1 new engine than you can connect this with special connector which can help you for gearbox connection this type of connector will be availalble at auto R&D centers they have for experiments,
IF you request than they will definatly helps you,

Pull off door panel speaker and switches. lower the window to where you see the two or four 10millimeter that connect scissor mechanism to the window. Prop window all the way up and put a door stopper to prevent the window from falling down. Unbolt window motor, unplug window motor, and unbolt eveything else in the door. Pull it all down and out through the bottom largest whole, lay flat on ground the entire indoor mechanism, out where you can see it on the floor. Take a pic with camera, and proceed to swapping regulator, intallation is same as removal. Good Luck

There are 3 small bolts across the top where the front defrost grill is. 2 large bolts directly under the headlight switch and another big bolt lower right hand corner of the glovebox area.
