Question about Cadillac Escalade
I have a cadillac BLS with a Saab engine and Auto box on a 2006 model. The engine started rattling so it was recovered to a garage.They found the oil pressure to be very high. They carried out the following, removed cylinder head and cleared all oil ways, removed and cleaned the oil pump and pressure switch which were tested cleand and replaced, fitted a new timing chain set, removed the sump and blew out all visible oil ways, replaced the turbo. The engine was then re-assembled. It was flushed through three times. It now has high oil pressure AND it smokes. A compression test was carried out and the cylinders are all with in tollerance. Apart from a new engine, any ideas?
That shop didn't fix the original problem and made it worse. They need to take care of the problem or at least refund your money for the failed repair unless you authorized them to take guesses at it. If they said that what they were doing would fix it then they're responsible for making it right.

Sounds like your injection pump timing is off, an injector is leaking or a bad seal on your IP.
VW dealers have a horrible reputation when it comes to TDI's. Check out the posts over at www.tdiclub.com Those guys are very knowledgeable - and the first thing they'll tell you is don't take it to a dealer.
You can probably find someone in your area that has a copy of Vag-Com (scantool software that vw uses) software that could look at your timing. It definitely sounds like your dealer was throwing parts at your car because they didn't know what your problem is. If I were you, I'd copy and paste your post from here over at www.tdiclub.com
