Question about 1995 Nissan Pathfinder
I need to bypas the immobilizer to use a non-chip key. (chip key too expensive). Had a locksmith make a non-chip key for $8, vs. $140+tax quoted by dealer. This totally obviates the immobilizer as too expensiv to support it. How can I eliminate it? I am down to one chip key that starts the car and it makes me apprehensiv.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

SOURCE: My Nissan 200 SX wont start
the only way to bypass the immobalizer if it is that is to open either the driver door or the boot with the key.
other wise you have to remove the immobalizer and fit an aftermarket one.
