SOURCE: wipers willnot return to park position

I've fixed this problem before. You have to disconnect the wiper transmission from the wiper motor. Put wipers in off position, unbolt the plate on top of wiper, turn wipers on then off. In the off position see where the wiper transmission is position in relation to where the park position is, remove the top plate from wiper motor and position it so as to be able to reconnect the wiper transmission now in the proper place. Please keep me informed. thanks you

SOURCE: retracting wiper blades lexus es 330 2004

I am the owner of a 2004 ES330 and the answer by 240 CPR is totally wrong. If you look in your owners manual on how to replace the wiper blades you'll find that all need to do is push down firmly on the wiper arm and it'll snap back down where it belongs.

2010 Lexus ES 350 WINDSHIELD has suddenly stopped moving, the motor make noise , the windshield not moving , what could be the cause and solution

It is either time to replace the wiper motor or the arm has disengaged from the transmission. does the motor make any sounds when the wiper switch is activated? Also, does one work and not the other? If neither wiper moves or makes the usual noises i would suspect the switch inside the car. hope this helps and good luck.

How do you replace the front windshield wiper blades?

If you grab the arm and pull it toward you gently (it should be spring loaded so you can move it) You can spin the wiperblade all around, sort of like a swivel. On the inside of the ARM, very close to the blade there will be a small black tab just sticking out about 1/4 of an inch. Push down on it and the blade will slide down the arm and disconnect. Once you get it, you will laugh. Very simple.

How do I replace the windshield wipers?

They slide off the the wiper arm like any standard wiper blade. Go to a store that sells wipers blades, instructions are on the back of the box. Do it your self...the dealer will charge you 40 bucks at least! (Lexus dealer)
