Question about 2005 Nissan Altima
The car will idle and go into gear but when the gas is pressed it will not go or rev. I think it might be the alternator. The battery had came on and if you hook up cables for a little while it will run right for just a little while
Is the engine bogging down? or no responce at all? i would bring the battery to the nearest discount or autozone for a free battery charge and have them test the battery first . if the battery was low or shorted it could cause the problem your having .if it just bogging after that if it runs fine for a little while i would get it to autozone to test the alternator free test aswell. a shorted battery a blown fusable link or a bad alternator could do the same thing which would use all the voltage from the battery
