Firing order & Wire Routing for 2009 Dodge Nitro 3.7 w/ three coil setup


The firing order for v6 is 165432
The driver side cylinder bank is numbered from front to rear-- 2-4-6
The passenger side cylinder bank is numbered from front to rear 1-3-5
The picture is for your coil pack, hopefully. So you can see how the coil towers are numbered.
My database for 09 showed coil on plug ignition. Is this the original engine?
I did see info for 07--3.7L that did appear to show a coil pack in tune-up manual.

Coil Connections from front of engine bay to rear firewall of engine bay


3 - Rear coil pack, rear post
2 - Rear coil pack, front post

4 - Front coil pack, rear post

theres no distributor and the firing order for your 3.8 is 1-6-5-4-3-2-the following link shows the coil pack

I'm having some problems on my #4 cylinder on my 5.4 triton engine coil pack in my 2003 Ford Expedition. How do I identify which coil is #4?

On 1992 ford explorer 4 li where does # 1 plug in on coil pack


i belive its 4 1

5 3 standing in front of the engine on the coil pack,but the engine starts at 1 on the passenger side and goes straight back on that back to 2 and 3,driver side is4,5,6 straight back,hope this helps

Ineed the firing order for a 2001 ford expedition 5.4 l v8 engine. I replace the #4 coil pack and plug , but shows misfire on plug 4. I was told the firing order was not typical of other engines.


Firing order is 1-3-7-2-6-5-4-8 Passenger side of engine starting at front and going back is 1-2-3-4 Driver's side starting at front going back is 5-6-7-8.
