Alternator in tight spot, you need to loosen remove brace bolts you need brace with alternator.remove alternator pivot bolt and spacer and adjustment nut and bolt, when you remove alternator you have to angle it out through bracket by the AC COMPRESSOR. YOU DONT HAVE TO DISCONNECT ANY AC LINES OR COMPRESSOR TO REPLACE ALTERNATOR.

SOURCE: 2002 Chrysler Sebring Convertible - Trunk lid will not stay open

All gas charged supports are not created equal. I recommend using O.E. for this application.
Snow, ice and trapped water make the lid heavier than it should be make sure these are not the issue.

I have a 2002 chrysler sebring everytime i turn headlights on the vehicle dies and wont restart i am clueless has new battery runs fine until u turn on headlights

Check the condition and tension of the alternator drive belt. Have a test done on the alternator as it appears that there is insufficient current to cover the large current draw for the lights.

What location of chrysler sebring 2002 ; will the ac drain hose be?

FROM THE BOOK: The evaporator housing drain hose is located on the firewall (coupe but other models similar). To remove it for cleaning simply pull it off.
RECOMMENDATION: Operate the a/c system for about 10 minutes at least once a month, particularly in the winter. Long term non-use can cause hardening, and subsequent failure of the seals.

My 2002 chrysler sebring wont start unless it gets jumped. the battery is good and the alternator is good. I checked the fuse box and everything seemed good. what else could it be?

sounds like a bad connection at or from the battery. If the battery is dirty, clean it and the terminals, provided the battery is good. How did you check the battery and the alternator?

2002 Chrysler Sebring Limited. My check engine light is on and when I had it checked for codes, it came up with a P0605, Powertrain Module. Would you tell me what the problem is and can I drive it? ...

Hello Normally this means the PCM will need replacing. In the USA I've heard that they are guaranteed for 8 years. If it's just gone past the date try and ask for a discount from Chrysler it's always worth a try! It's worth checking for any bad earths first or loose wires. Also get the alternator checked out as it could be dumping AC voltage. It's hard to say if it's still worth driving as depending on the problem it could do more damage or put you in a dangerous situation. Please can you leave some feedback. Thanks

Did a 2001 Chrysler Seabring 2.7L Remove right hand lower splash shield under the vehicle. Loosen the belt tensioner which will be two 13mm bolts. Discharge the A/C system. disconnect wiring from alternator and remove the three bolts from the alternor. Once the alternator is disconnected from the engine remove the low side A/C line from the A/C compressor and the alternator will come out through the top. It will be tight but it will come out

2002 chrysler sebring 2.7 v6 elictrical problem???

Sounds like a charging system issue. Just because the alternator itself tested fine doesn't mean it's getting power to the car and battery. Charge the battery and start the car (with everything connected normally, including alternator). While car is idling, disconnect the battery (negative post wI'll do). If car dies, there's a problem with the alternator wiring/harness. Once the vehicle is running, the alternator should provide plenty of power. Check voltage at battery (from alternator) and should be around 14V. Check alternator fuse.
Could be the voltage regulator in the alternator going out, which would need a new alternator.
