Question about Cars & Trucks
Knock sensor located on the side cylinder block below intake manifold.

The Trionic engines don't work like the old ones which had a physical knock sensor bolted onto the engine block. Trionic (the engine management system) uses the ionisation and discharge of the DI unit (coil pack) to detect knock. As Wessy says, there is no separate "knock sensor" on these cars.

A SAAB dealer should be able to print one out for you. BTW that engine is practically identical to the V6 used in a caddy Catera, and Saturn Ion. Those diagrams would be the same, so you might want to search that also.

clockwise; the top will pivot down on a hinge; release the wire harness
and pull out bulb. Retrace these steps to introduce the new bulb to

replace it. there is a connection or a short in the sensor that's throwing the code. Get your Saab parts at Carquest Auto Parts, They have a WORLDPAC division for all hard to find(and easy) parts. trust me, you will save a fortune on Saab, Mercedes, Volvo and other high end parts.
