Question about 2004 Renault 181
Hi, Just got back from shopping and found my passenger window had fallen down inside the door. Thought i had been robbed, but nothing was taken.
Just phone local dealer, they said it maybe the window regulator and the loom that has failed. when asked how much they said £400+ to get fixed, what a rip off. Any help would be great as to where this can be fixed cheaper, or how to fix myself. I see from a few forum that this is a common problem for 2004/54 plate Renaults. Thanks
I know a man in mullingar fixes them handy. he loves the french as they couldnt design a p.up. he fixed it for me for €200 which included a new mechanism and motor sound guy too no messing just left the car to him and called me when was done. 2hr job. he is mike 0868212627 www.autosolutions.ie is where i found him he does a mobile service too worth checking out before you shell out mad money in ireland.
