SOURCE: mitsubishi eclipse convertiable timing belt change?

Typical timing belt intervals are every 60k miles. It's a very involved service to do the whole job - timing belt, timing belt tensioner, serpentine or accessory belts, water pump, thermostat, spark plugs, all fluids, all filters, brake and suspension inspection, and tire rotation. On many cars it's recommended to change the oxygen sensors as well. Quite a bit of this can be done when you want, but the first five items are critical and should all be done. And regardless of whether your manufacturer says the coolant is "lifetime", replace it - don't reuse coolant. It's cheap and it's good practice to use new coolant.

SOURCE: Changing the front speaker 2001 Eclipse Spyder

There are 7 screws all together to remove the door pannel. First, you have to take off the hanlde for the door. the 2 plastic covers on the handle pop off revealing 2 screws on the top and bottom, remove those. then behind the the door handle on the inside, pull it as if you were to open it and there is a screw that you have to remove. Then there are 2 screws on either side of the door pannel, both are farily close to the top, remove those, and then its just a matter of popping the pannel off. start from the bottom, pop it off then slide it up. becarefull, after the door panel is free, there is a connection for the power doors and windows unhook that then the pannel will be free. after that the speaker will be right there and its common sense on removing that. good luck.

Starting in about the mid 1980's automatic transmissions changed from fluid shifting to electronic shifting. In other words, your shift is by an electronic solenoid controlled by the computer. There is no Shift cable gong to the transmission. Just wires. You need to look for a loose or dirty electronic connection to the transmission.

Friend took to auto zone they told them their could be 3 things wrong with their Mitsubishi Spyder eclipse 2002 low transmission fluid, transmission solonoid ,transmission inner problems

All three are possibilities. Without knowing what the vehicle was doing no one here would be able to say otherwise. If it is an Automatic, considering they mentioned a solenoid, and the fluid is low, a check you can do, add fluid to the proper level and see if the problem resolves itself. If it doesn't you will need to take it to a transmission shop to have it diagnosed to the exact problem.

You can use Castrol DOT4. Luckily most car parts stores have it, as well as walmart. Pretty much and DOT4 fluid will work good.

2001 mitsubishi eclipse. Automatic transmission

Transmission may be low on transmission fluid or the transmission fluid pump failed. If it's electrical, you can still get it in to gear, but would not shift gears. Good luck and keep me posted, check transmission fluid level and have the transmission line pressure tested. Before that check all your fuses.

At traffic light and car wouldnt go forward but

You'll have to find the source of the leak to find out what went bad. It almost sound like a line going to the transmission cooler, but you could have a hole in the transmission casing. See if you can put it on a jack and figure out where it's leaking from.
