You should be able to pry the vent from the dashboard by carefully using two screwdrivers(one on each side of the vent)to pry it out. It is a good idea to place a cloth on the dashboard to control any dents you may put into the dashboard.

Ac only blows out floor and defrost vents 95 camaro

Could it be a possibility that your switch is broken to that setting. Try popping off the knob with a screw driver, taking pair of pliers and twisting the knob. Feel for it switching settings.

The knob that controls the doors to the HVAC vents is stuck

TRY CAREFULLY DISCONECT THE CABLE AT THE BLEND DOOR AND 1. TRY WORKING THE KNOB,
IF WILL NOT MOVE YOU NEED A NEW CABLE.
.2 GENTLY TRY MOVING THE BLEND DOOR BY HAND. THIS SHOULD GIVE YOU THE DEFROST FOR NOW. IF IT WON'T MOVE YOU SHOULD TAKE IT TO A GOOD SHOP THERE ARE A LOT OF SMALL AND EASLY BROKEN PARTS IN THE HEATER BOX. A DAMAGED BEND DOOR ALLWAYS RUINS THE CABLE SO IT WOULD NEED TO BE REPLACE TOO.

I can not get the temp knob to transfer form cool

most likely you'll have to replace the plastic tab on the back of your controls its easy to do. You'll have to take out the radio and temp. Control unit you'll see where the cable hooks in its probably broke. For a temporary fix you can unhook the cable at the floor. Its on the drivers side by the gas pedal.

Internal air vent only working on upper screen

The cable from the vent control knob is probably broken or come off somewhere, you'll have to trace it from the back of the knob onwards.

Vent Select Knob Not Functioning

maybe a fuse problem but some of these problems are vacuum source problems also. if the vents are motorized, then it could be a fuse problem but if the vents are air solenoids, then it is a vacuum source problem.

you can verify this by looking underneath the globe compartment, if you can see the recycle vent controller, you can verify if the controller has electrical wires on it or just plain hoses.

if plain hoses you see, you could have a broken line from the engine vacuum to the controller.

check for broken small hoses from the controller switch going to the engine.

tnx 4 using fixya,
