Question about Cars & Trucks
Lost spark and no injectors live
Sounds like the lost ket is a PATS key, and the new cut key, while matching tumblers in the ignition is not coded to the PCM to allow starting. recommend check with dealer, have your registration and VIN# ready, dealer can reproduce a PATS key that should start your vehicle.

Yes sir , you have a failing valve, soon it will snap in two....please have your head checked. You can do this yourself by placing a long-handed screwdriver , business end down to each cylinder while pressing your ear to the handle(while engine is running)...you will notice a definite difference when you hit which cylinder has the bad valve. Also makes sure the egr valve is clean and your exhaust recycle valve is not stuck.( located in the crossover pipe)

SOURCE: GOLF MK3 NON START
check for 12v at injector plug if no 12v this is fed from the ecu so backtrack all fuses and ecu feeds
you may need new ecu control unit but be sure to check all 12v feeds and earths etc

there, Joel here 20 year master mechanic. For the faulting to the injector
pulse and power, the control mod in the distributor controls fuel and spark. You're
going to have to replace the control mod. I believe AutoZone carries these at
26.99 p/n DR126. Hope this helps.
