Question about 2006 Honda CR-V
The front power socket for our 2006 Honda CR V does not work. The rear one works. We've checked the fuse and it was fine, but we replaced it anyways. Also, we got a new socket (genuine honda part), that didn't work. We've read that the relay might be the cause, but some have said that the relay is only for the rear one and that both should go out. The rear socket works fine. Is there a relay? If so, how do you check it?

Use a test light and with the key on is there power to the center wire on the socket, does it have a good ground?

thermostat problem happens and unfortunately some do become faulty and you may need to replace it.I am assuming you are talking about the engine cooling thermostat switch that triggers the start of the fan here.Let me know if I am wrong and I will try my best to help.
