Question about 1993 Subaru Legacy
My engine runs ok except going up one long hill where it loses power at the same place almost every time. Any ideas anyone?
my 93 legacy loses power on long hills, and when it's ready to shift to 5th on the highway. four mechanics can't figure it out! she runs great the rest of the time.
It sounds like a tranny problem. Without more info kinda hard to diagnose. The simplist thing to check is tranny fluid. If its low, going up a hill will pull fluid out of the torque converter. It could be the converter itself. It could possibly a fuel problem, but unlikely. Hope this helps. John...
