SOURCE: Replace side view mirror on Dodge Caravan

You will need to remove the triangular panel on the inside of the door on the opposite side of the broken mirror. Once you remove the panel, you will see the retaining bolts holding the mirror in place. Once you remove the bolts, the mirror can then be pulled out from the outside. Reverse the procedure to reinstall the new mirror.

SOURCE: side view passenger mirror

there will be a small triaglular panel in the furthest side of your door which despite it being hard to come off will clip off. try to take care while pulling this off as the pins can snap quite easily. then you will see the 2/3 bolts connecting the mirror. once you have undone these then unplug electrics which im presuming from age it has, and you will be ready to connect new one.

you should be able to take it off from the inside of the car directly behind were the mirror is. usually ther eis a molding cover ing the mounting screws . take off the molding , mabey a few screw then some body clips that just snap off. now you should unplug the harness if necessary and remove the three or four bolts that hold the mirror on, and that should be it. hope this helps

I have a 2009 dodge nitro. My mirror was knocked off is there a way to replace just the mirror or do I have to replace the whole unit? Thank you for your time.

Hi
Most likely you will have to replace the whole unit.
if just the glass is broken then you can get a universal mirror glass and stick it on previous glass.
i hope that helps

Is there a special fuse for my front power window and mirrors on my 2008 dodge nitro

See pages 381 to 388:

If can't run windows or mirrors from the driver's side, maybe power switch is defective.

Dodge nitro 3.7 .its leaking antifreez near the water pomp i replace the gasket but still leaking it the termoste house its good .when i turn on the car it dosent leak till about 2 min.

The water pumps have a small hole in or near the bottom. When the engine is cold, it will seal the hole but when it warms up, it will expand the seal and leak. You should be able to see coolant coming out from under the vehicle or using a mirror. If there is coolant coming out, replace the pump. Changing the gasket is not going to help if the internal seal in the pump is bad. Hope this helps.

How do I change the mirror on Dodge Nitro?

You have to start with removing the door panel as follows:

CAUTION: Pay close attention to the plastic hook attachment points on the inside of the door trim panel. Make sure that every hook is correctly positioned to the door when installing the trim panel. Damage to the trim panel will occur if the hooks in the door panel are not properly positioned to the door during installation. 1. Connect the electrical connectors and install the power window switch. 2. Carefully install the door trim panel (4) to the door (1) by lifting upward and over the door lock into the trim panel then attach the trim panel to the carrier plate attachment points. 3. Install the screws (2) and the cap screw covers (3) to the front door trim (4). 4. Install the fastener (5) at the handle area of the front door trim (4) and tighten screw to 5.5 Nm (50 in. lbs.). 5. Install the door handle trim bezel (6).

1. Install the mirror assembly (1). 2. Install the three nuts (2) and tighten to 7 Nm (65 in. lbs.). 3. Connect the electrical connector (3). 4. Install the trim panel

Should be the same as a Dakota.
The firing order is 1-6-5-4-3-2

Where is the oil filter on a 2007 dodge nitro v6

You can access the oil filter easily from underneath next to the front, driver-side wheel at the front of the engine. There is clear access to the filter there.

Trying to replace driver side parking light on dodge nitro

You will need a flat blade screwdriver and a T20  torx Open the tailgate, on the inside of the lamp cluster there are 2 plastic domed heads that look like blanking plugs, with a flat bladed screwdriver pry them out, then grasp the lamp unit and pull it backwards, the 2 balls need to pop out of the plastic sockets and you will have the unit in your hand, on the back of the lamp the bulbholder is held in with 2 T20 torx screws, undo these and pry the holder out of the lamp, get someone to operate the lights and indicators to work out the faulty bulb, re-assemble in reverse order, pat the lamp into the panel with your hand.
