Question about Cars & Trucks
My new battery i replaced in August keeps dying. Today it started just fine then about 2 hrs after I have been at work I go to leave the battery was dead. I jumped the car and it started right up. The radio won't even come on and I checked the fuses and they are all fine. What do I do?

Some German cars have anti-theft device inside to make it useless to steal...check at the dealership to see if jumping the battery will activate this(the car thinks its being stolen) .

It is possible that if your old alternator was shorted out, it could have caused the main fuse to blow. The fuse is located in the engine compartment fuse box. It is an 80 Amp fuse and sits off to the right - all by itself. (See picture)
NOTE: There is also a chance that there is something else wrong that may have caused this fuse to blow. If it blows again upon replacing it, you need to inspect the wire that runs between this fuse and the alternator - it may be shorted to ground. If this is the case, you probably did not need to replace your alternator.

SOURCE: the car won't start; lights,
Check the starter and the starter relay or fuse. A client of mines car was doing the same thing, it ended up being two issues, the starter not working anymore, and a relay that was bad. If I am not mistaken everything should be labeled in the fuse box under the hood and will tell you where the fuse/ relay is for your vehicle
