SOURCE: power steering

the power steering pump is mounted on the front of the motor, the pump has a lid which you unscrew to add fluid. if you cant find the pump follow the serpentine belt until it goes around the pump (large Pulley) with about a four or so inch long neck. Make sure you buy the fluid made for your vehicle.

How much does it cost to replace the power steering hose on a 2006 pontiac grand prix?

Which hose is it, low pressure return or high pressure line?
Usually lookin at min 1 to 2 hours labor no matter what is leaking.
hose assemblies average 30 to 50 dollars approx. So Questimate would come in at anywhere between $80 to $170. Unless a pump or rack & pinion is needed.
