If I understand you right, your saying that your blower still runs, even after you turn off the vehical and remove the keys??? If thats the case, the only thing it could possibly be is the eletrical side of your ignition switch. Whats happening is that when you turn the car off, the switch is not disconnecting. Try this. After you turn off the car, and the blower is still working, remove the keys, try turning on your turn blinker. That should not work if the cars off. If it works, I would say its the switch. If it does not.....well...Im not sure. Hard to solve problems with out seeing. Good luck. John..

Peugeot faults

i cant help much no Peugeots here,.
but like all cars, they moved the engine cooling fans controls
to the PCM.
the PCM has programming that trips the fans at a specific temp.
the PCM reads the ECT sensor (main EFI sensor) and at about 215 or more temp , it closes the Fan relay.
most newer cars work this way.
but if you buy the FSM for your car, its all there. read it.
hot wire the fan, does it work>
test the fan relays are they good.
if yes, then it gets more hard.
on our cars we attach a scan tool to make sure the ECT even hits the
spec.temp, hot idle parked.. It must.

My 97 jetta is overheating. i have replaced the temp sensor, but still nothing. even after i turn off the the car the fans do not come one...please help!

Had the same problem on my 97 Jetta. Replace the fan switch sensor on the side of the radiator. If you look at it on the drivers side about 3/4 of the way up there will be a plug. That's what tells the fans when to turn on.

Someone will need to check the fuse for the blower, then the blower motor and the resistor.

Engine heat keeps going up even after refilling coolant.

are you leaking coolant ? or you were just low and added fluid to it ? if your car is full of coolant and still overheating change the thermostat first its the cheapest and easiest starting point.

If that does not work i would replaced the coolant temp sensor pretty cheap to that tells the ecu when to turn of your electric fan assuming you have a electric fan.

if you have a clutch fan aka belt driven you may need to replace the fan clutch its basiclly a unit that expands and contrancts a spring to turn fan off and on.

if none of the above work you probably have a faulty water pump even though its not leaking the propeller blade inside is likely rusted and limited functionallity

if this helps you please give me a good rating

The Auxilliary FANS keep on turning ON even if the engine is stop or no ignition please HELP

The fans will run even if the vehicle is off. This is to keep the engine from overheating
after it is shut off. (residual heat). Now if the fans run continuously after the
vehicle is shut off and do not shut off in say, 15 minutes then the fan relay may
be stuck or the temperature sensor has failed. The fans may also come on after
a long drive several minutes after the vehicle has stopped as heat builds up
because there is no air flowing across the radiator. They may even be controlled
by the engine computer in some vehicles. You can have a code check
run at many parts stores for free.
Also, check the coolant
level with the vehicle off and totally cold at the radiator itself to be sure that
it's not low (Even if the reserve tank is full you can still be low creating hot pockets in
the block). Make sure the overflow tubes are connected to the reserve tank
I have seen them fall off and drain the radiator slowly without being noticed.
Hope this helps.

The blower runs, when the vehicle is turned off?

Please check your blower / fan controller. Some times the fan will run even the car turning off if the vehicle is in hot. But it seems something wrong with your car now. Please fix it then

My ford excusion vent fan is running even when engine is off. No key in car and I can turn my vents all the way up and it will blow tons of air into car?? Ran battery out overnight.

If this has EATC automatic temp control. You will probably need a blower speed control module. This controls fan speed in all ranges and sounds like it has internally shorted causing this concern.
