Question about 2006 Audi A4
My 97 A4 started slipping on the 4th gear. it drives fine on lower gears but when it comes to 4th it will start slipping when it reaches 1pprox 3000rpm. On the scan it says torgue converter mechanical problem. is it really just the converter or is it also something inside the box? cheers
Re: 1997 A4 Cabriolet A4 Convertible: Problem: Acts like plug fouled at intermitant times and or a air or transmission filter is clogged. (V6) buckles at slow cruising speeds and more noticeable when in 3rd or fourth gear approximating 25/40 miles and hour. Does not buck when rpm increasing but will not cruise at steady rate without inconsistent bucking. thankyou. firstname.lastname@example.org
