Oase pondovac not working

I find that it sucks a lot more water if it's getting a little air from that valve thingy on the handle. Be sure it's tight and closed. I guess you could filter out the water through some media etc. using the hose attachent..into a large bucket with matting etc. and then set it up to go back to the pond. I'd go heavy on the matting though to be sure you're not just putting dirty bottom-of-the-pond water back in. I only use mine about once a month in the summer (bottom drain takes care of most waste), but am using it several times a week right now to get every speck before winter sets in. I don't do water changes once the filters are shut down, and I'm not feeding. I find the water stays clear and the water parameters upon testing are fine....all through winter.

99 mercury cougar replaced power window motor and switch window still does not work

That doesn't seem possible does it ?

You remove the inner door panel

You think the motor may be bad,so you unplug it,
knowing it is a DC Motor & can be hooked up either
way & will run in either direction
You put 12 volts to it. Doesn't work ,sounds bad,you
install a new one

Now you need power from the switch to run the new motor,
so you work on that
The switch can be disconnected & tested with an OHM Meter
& if worn,you replace that
You checked the fuse before you started & knew that wasn't an issue,
because all the other windows worked

So what did you mis ,short of having no wiring diagram, to make
things a lot easier?

I have a 2009 dodge avenger that the front passenger window goes down but it doesnt go back up. I checked power at the motor & had power going both up & down. I thought it was the motor but I...

It may be a bad Power Window Switch, if the Power Window Motor goes up and down when you ran power leads to it but doesn't work with the switch, than the switch is bad. Replace the power window switch and it should work fine.

We just bought a 1999 GMC Jimmy and the heater doesn't work. The fan blows but there is no heat. The air conditioner works fine.

Could be that the heater core is disconnected, there are two hoses that attach to the heather core that come out of the engine, this provides hot water to the core thus making the heater work, when the heater core starts leaking water the quick and fast fix would be to bypass the heater core and connect the two hoses together, check under the hood on the left passenger side there should be two hoses about 1" thick see if there are connected together or of they seem to be connected to 2 outlets that come out of the inside of the vehicle. people do that specially if selling vehicle.
