SOURCE: side light bulb change on hyundai terracan

hi there
the solution is simple,
you only need to undo the screw on top of the side light/indicator. then facing the head light place a flat headed screw driver under the bottom lip of side light. the bottom of the lihgt is on a small push fit stud, use a sponge or cloth to protect your bumper paint work then just apply pressure gently to lever side light out towards you, It will come dont worry, you may then change your bulbs if you wish remove the whole light unit you will see the bottom bolt as soon as you release the side light. to replace just push back into place then replace screw. whole job takes about five minutes

hope this helps kevan hildred

P1300,p 1305,p1310,p1315 how do i fix these fault codes on a Occasionally stall & engine check light on.

You have an at times fault which is loss of spark on all four cylinders. Worse case is the engine control module (quite expensive) so lets keep that for last cause. If it were to fail it would more than likely 100% of the time. Therefore the most likely causes are either a dirty connector or loose ground. See image 1&2 below to uncover coil on plugs. locate connector plugs common to all four plug wires. There are two junction connectors A & B. With key off remove connectors, check for bent pins and spray with DOXIT a radio shack product that is a great No Touch pin cleaner. Replace connectors. One wire from each of the four coil on plug wires leads back to the ECM (Electronic Control Module) Connector A (it is labeled). disconnect and perform same procedure using spray. Reconnect...you'll need to clear codes by disconnecting positive battery terminal for 3 minutes. Test run vehicle to see if troubles have cleared...If not; do you have a multimeter and a wee bit of experience using one? If so put on lowest ohm setting...Hold one terminal on the negative battery terminal...right on the post...Hold the other on bare metal of chassis as in fender...record reading...While holding lead on battery terminal move the other lead to metal of engine block...record readings...Must be close to zero ohms about 1 to 200...If readings are around 2000 ohms the car has an inadequate ground...If so send me a message...saailer@ec.rr.com

My Terracan normally starts on the 2 nd turn of the engine. All of a sudden the engine just turned without starting at all. I waited till the next morning and tried again. It start immediately. I let it...

That code would have been "camshaft position sensor". They may have replaced the old one with a faulty new one, which might account for the blown fuses. Have them try unplugging it to see if it stops blowing fuses. If it does... have them replace that sensor again with another new one.

The replacement they used MIGHT not have even been NEW - it might have been salvaged from another vehicle... or they might have used the wrong one for your Terracan. How much do you trust that shop? You might have the Terracan towed to a different shop if you're not pretty confident about their competence.

Terracan delphi injection

I depends on what kind of problems you are having. The system consists of three main parts: 1) The 4 injectors, 2) The fuel rail and 3) the high pressure pump. Your problem can be pinpointed to any of them or all. Anyway, such repair calls for quilified technitians with proper tools and factory information on service. It may be expensive. BTW, the fuel tank has no reason to be replaced unless is cracked due to rust or accident. All components from tank can be repaired or replaced if needed.
