SOURCE: Check engine light stays on and no power. 2006

You need a code reader to find out the problem. If you live in the US and they have an auto parts store many will check the code for free and tell you what is wrong. Autozone is one of them.

The new part should have had a 12 month or 12,000 mile warranty. If you had not exceeded either of these the dealer should warranty part. You could have a switch problem they were some what common.

How relaubel is the 7.3 l diesel engine

I can personally show you 85 of them that have OVER 250,000 miles on them, 25 over 300,000.
I work for Bi-State here in St. louis. MO. We use Ford 7.3 diesels. They bought 30 6.0 fords every one of them are junk. We just got chevys which are having alot of problems as well.
7.3 Ford e-450 6.0 Ford e-450 and chevy 4500 duramax
I would buy the 7.3 before driving a free 6.0 or duramax
