Driving home from work power steering stopped working and 2005 dodge caravan overheated

Check your drive belt under the hood. There is one belt that drives everything if it is broken or loose you will loose power steering, alternator, A/C, and possibly the water pump. If the belt is intact but loose the tesioner is probably the problem.

Loose power

The ticking I have no idea. Losing power and sputtering could be a number of problems, bad wiring harness, a short, a sensor, bad injectors, clog in a fuel line perhaps.

Car loosing power

If the battery is loosing power as you drive it,then the alternator has gone bad, this is what charges the battery, and the engine will also not run correctly if it is not charging.

Vehicle momentarily loses power while driving then resumes

Sounds like an electrical issue maybe the plug from firewall to cab is loose or on computer is loose, sometimes those coonections or pins get loose,i had a new car with 200 miles on it and it went dead in heavy traffic, had to get towed to dealer they found loose connection!!!!With audible noise when happens tells me its wiring, check all connections and wires to connections make sure there not loose!!!Best of Luck to you!!!!!
