Better take the dash back apart , you didn't connect something , something came apart . Your answer is behind the dash .

My dash is ticking and the dome and door lights are flashing; what could be wrong?

the ticking noise will be from a faulty relay and will not be covered by codes. At best you will have to locate the clicking relay and replace it . IT will have something to do with the interior lights ,door switches and may be the light control module.

Went to try and install a stereo, now all the gages on my dash won't work, such as speedometor, fuel, temperture and tac gages. What possibly can be wrong?

Have you checked all the fuses??
or it could be that you have pulled on the wiring loom a little to much and unplugged something double check all plugs and fuses see if that helps

I HAVE A 1988 TOYOTA PICKUP AND ONE NIGHT MY DASH LIGHTS WENT OUT EVERYTHING ELSES WORKS BUT MY DASH LIGHTS CHECKED ALL THE FUSES NONE BLOWED PLEASE HELP

The dash lights are controlled by the dimmer switch on the head lamp switch. Check under the dash to ensure nothing got accidentally unplugged. Also the plug in the back os the dash can come loose or a contact can burn up where it plugs in on high mileage cars and trucks. Some times you can clean the plug with a small brass brush and sometimes you have to replace the plug and or cluster depending how bad it is. Also most cars have more than one fuse box make sure to check them all.

Dash lights, parking lights & interior lights don't work

Somebody left a wire harness unplugged. Look under the dash around the steering column, find something dangling that will fit into something else dangling. Undangle by connecting.
Or:
Take it back to whomever changed the steering sensor, their bad!

Dashlights don't come on. I hit something in the road (ruined a tire) and the tail lights and dash lights went off. I found a burned out fuse that covered the taillights and they now burn but I can't find...

Fuse #34 is detailed as "TAIL", but it also operates the dash lights too. If your dash are not working and the fuse is good the most likely cause would be your dash dimmer switch. If you press on it and the lights come on. Simply replace it.

All my break lights are out

Is your ETS light also coming on when you hit the brakes and then staying on?

If so it is the brake switch that attaches to the brake pedal.

It is an easy fix

Remove four crews for the black dash cover. Two large plastic screws at fron of cover.
You can also remove your OBD plug to make it easier. it is two small screws and a plug that is tough to get apart.

I didnt mess with it and just move cover out of the way

Unplug the upper and lower pig tail going into switch. twist and pull out the old one.
Carefully push in and twist new switch into place. plug upper and lower pigtails back in.
replace cover and done.....

Good luck
