To bleed the slave cly. you need a lot of pactence, and a good working clutch master cyl. pump it up 5 times or until you feel presure in the pedel and hold, and open the bleeder , and repet many times until all the air is out and you have a good pedel.

all 1.9 tdi engines with 8v cylinder heads have glow plugs out side cylinder head, you will find them easy. Torque is from 12 - 14 Nm.

P0455: EVAP- no purge flow or large leak. Check for leaks in the evaporative purge system.
P0307: #7 cylinder misfire. Check spark plug and wire.

What is the "Cylinder compresion" on a Jetta TDi 2000 engine? Everybody talks about 155 lbs/ft @ 1900 rpm but I need to know in terms of "Bars" or "PSI" per cylinder.


Hello gilvega69: My name is Roger and I will help you.Depending on your compression Gage.it should read bars or psi.The compression should be 10 to 13 bars (145 psi to 189 psi.) Door lock cylinder...


You'll need a new ignition switch from the dealer. Removing it and replacing my rating of 6 - 10. This means unless you have a Bentleys repair manual you wouldn't know exactly where to place 3/64th drill bit in order to push the locking tab in the cylinder after all the trim is removed.
