92 chevy 1500 silverado Changed thermostat, heater core, core hose not hot. No heat

It sounds like your heater core is stopped up. try flushing it out, you can use a water hose. and if you cant get it to clean out then you will need to change the heater core.

The Heater works when the truck is turned on but the display is dark and the air will only blow out by your feet will not change to defrost. 2003 Chevrolet Silverado Extended Cab

most of the displays have lightbulbs in the back of the unit which means you have to pull the heater control out of the dash to fix this.As far as it staying on the floor heat selection, two posibilities and there are test procedures to determine which. It may be the control itself or there is a electric motor that changes the modes(where it blows out)down under the dash on the heater box that moves a door to change the mode.It is called a mode door motor and is the most likely culprit.Let me know if this helps.

1995 Chevy k1500 heater problems.

there is an electric motor that moves the linkage to change where the air comes out..its under the dash to the right of the gas pedal........the problem is likely the linkages form that motor to your blend door that directs the air.its called the Heater Blend Door Actuator
hope this helps.......Good Luck!
