Question about Cars & Trucks
Will crank new battery and fuel pump wont start
Check to see if the fuel pump is in fact working and fuel is comming out at the engine. You will have to disconnect hose at engine and turn key on and try cranking engine being careful not to spray fuel all over the place, not a safe practice. If you have fuel then check for spark, timing and compressions.

SOURCE: Starting problem
there is a fuel pump relay under the hood in the junction box switch out the relay with the heater relay and try and start the vehicle. if it starts you know it was the relay. if it don't check the fuel cut-off switch(it's located in the trunk behind the fabric on the wheel well or under the drivers seat) push the reset button if it was tripped. if none of these is the problem check to make sure the fuse is good as well as the ecm fuse. if all these potential solutions don't pan out then your fuel pump is bad and needs replacing.....please rate this thanks

SOURCE: 2001 ford taurus wont start
It could be bad plugs, plug wires, a bad ground will do this as well. Check to see if it has the three main things.
Anther common problem is the crank shaft speed sensor. It will cause it to not spark and not start.
