Question about 2003 Renault Clio
When I break the indicator light comes on and when I go into reverse the hazaard lights come on
Check your fuses first.but check the indicators are working first .then check for codes.as it can be break in the wire ,bad hazard switch .or bad indicator switch .or bad relay.need to test each part first.

its definatly in the back lights. i have seen this problem before. the earth at the rear of the car on the left side beside where the loom plugs into the bulbs holder. 10 mm bolt bolted to the body. loosen it and say it with electrical cleaner and do the same on the opposite side. shoul do he job

SOURCE: rear lights renault master
its more than likely the earth wires for the lights. unplug the lights and chec the connections visually for corrosion or burnt. the white wire on either side is the earth. get some electrical cleaner and spray the connections. should solve it

Did you just look at the bulbs too determine if they're okay? Alot of bulbs look just fine, but really the elements are broken.
When you say indicators, which indicators do you mean?
If all else is good, it could be the brake switch under the brake peddle, the switch is not very expensive, and very easy to replace (provided you can twist, turn, and get your body somewhat undr the dash on the drivers side)
Hopefully this will help you.
Thanks for letting FixYa.com fix ya.

hi, this sounds like you have a bad earth at the rear lights, remove both rear light clusters and check for any signs of corrosion, give all connections a clean and a little tweek, this should cure your problem
