Question about 2001 Ford Taurus
Replaceing sensor and notice there are more then one sensors but only need to replace heated oxygen sensor bank 1 sensor 2. need to know the location so I will repalce the right one. 2001 ford taurus 6 cyclinder. (po136 ) visual piture would be nice.
Bank 1 exhaust is the rear manifold towards the windshield side. Follow the exhaust down. There should be one oxygen sensor before the catalytic converter and a monitor after the catalytic converter. Be Careful.. they look the same.

You will be told that it is passenger side 02 sensor before the cat,, but it is not .. Drivers side right after the manifold is the one you are after.
