I have trouble with the power steering on my 2007 impala and no garage can seem to know what the problem is.got over 2000.00 dollars spent.

It sounds like your steering cylinder has bad seals and oil is leaking around the seal. This is an internal leak and would not be visible.

I can't figure out where to put power steering fluid in my 2004 chevrolet malibu

the 2004 malibu does not have a place to put transmission fluid it has a electric power steering system and does not use fluid, if you are having a problem with the power steering light chimming and lighting up this is under a recall that chevy has obligated to fix. So if your car is doing this take it to your local chevy dealership and have them to repair it for you. Hope this helps.

I was tryna figure out what could be the problem if my wheel is getting hard to turn when backing up and certain turns and the power steering fluid is full???

The power steering pump is getting weak. It should make it easier to turn if you rev the engine up while turning. The faster the power steering pump turns, the more pressure the pump puts out and will make it easier to turn. If it is easier to turn with the engine revved up a little the power steering pump will need replaced.

Power steering pump

check the cap and make sure all the hoses are put on nice and tight. start the car and watch the pump, and look at the hoses as well. You might have to have some one turn the wheel back and forth to get the pump pushing the fluid thrue the system.

One quick suggestion on why the car turns off when steered comletely left or right may be that the car is running low on power steering fluid. The power steering runs off a pump which is on a series of belts also connected to your idler pulley. When stress is put on the pump it causes rpms to drop and possibly to shut off if its low. some belts, pulleys, or power steering hoses may need to be replaced, as i had the same problem with my volkswagen.
as for the gas, you may want to check the exhaust for and leaks before the firewall.
good luck!
