Car periodically dies and there is a gurgling sound when take gas cap off. Then either immediately or soon after the car starts. Put new fuel pump, gas cap and relay switch.

Maybe taking the gas cap off releases pressure on vacuum in the gas tank. I'd have to check your evap system. I'm just thinking out loud. Might be other issues?

Nissan Altima cranks, but won't start. Open the fuel tank, it starts. Gas tank vent? Clogged vent line? Gas cap?

no it has a closed system so no smell of petrol so their is something wrong with the suction pump and the pipes that come from teh engine compartment

While driving down the interstate at a steady speed sometimes my 2003 altima will **** like the car looses power for a second any ideas what it could be?

Hi It is gas related, either bad gas or water in the gas. Next refil add STP gas treatment to a full tank, run the car untill the gas is almost finish then refil again and add another STP. Do it like 3 times and everything will be alright.

You are probably going to have to change the spark plugs. They could have gotten fouled out from the oil based fuel.
