Your intake manifold gasket has blown. Water is leaking into the intake and being burnt thru the cylinders, drowning your gas mixture hence no power, and steam out the exhaust.
Drive it as little as possible as you'll easily trash your motor.
Shouldnt be massively expensive to fix - gasket set $50-100
Few hours shop labor, antifreeze. Make sure you change the thermostat when you fix it. that could have caused the blown gasket. hope that helps

You may have blown a head gasket.  Excessive steam and the smell of coolant coming through the exhaust is a good indicator that heated coolant is weeping into one or more cylinders.  Best thing to do would be to check coolant levels, then do a compression test in all cylinders.  I owned a 92 Explorer and sold it when it hit 110,000 miles only because I was switching over to a leased vehicle.  They were very reliable and a solid SUV.  You can buy a compression gauge at most automotive stores, or you can have a service garage check it.

Location of head gasket on a 92 plymouth colT

Between the head and cylinder block . The intake comes off first then valve cover , camshaft , loosen head bolts , disconnect exaust or unbolt exaust manifolod and the head will seperate from the block. The gasket is at that seperation point.

94 EXPLORER CHECK ENGINE LITE ON AND SLIGHT RUFF IDEL AND EXAUST SMELLS LIKE ITS BURNING TO LEAN ALREADY CHANGED MANIFOLD SENCERS,CAT-CONVERTER & MUFLER SYSTEM AND FULL TUNE UP. HAVE NOT TAKEN TO BE...

This is most likely bad 02 sensors.
Many part stores will run the engine codes for free.
If the sensors are bad, the vehicle will run too lean or rich.
