Many older trucks engage the 4x4 with vacuum lines. I would check for a leak or clog going to your transfer case. Fuses....I'm guessing none involved.

1987 4 runner. How to remove wiper controls?

You will probably need to replace the multifunction switch as a whole assmbly.
Check with your local auto parts store for a new switch and a Haynes manual.
It is not that hard to do.
You will need a steering wheel puller to access the switch.
Most parts stores will rent the tool for free with a refundable deposit.
Good luck :)

92 olds cutlass supreme turn signal broken

Start by checking the fuses that's simple
than relay than bulbs
last you may have to remove the steering wheel and than replace the entire signal assembly those are pretty much all your options so start with 1 and work your way down the list

Reverse causes fuse for instrumental cluster to blow

Yes there is a reverse light back up switch located on the side of the transmission it will be the only 2 wires going to the tranny. There might be a short in the switch itself or the power wire to switch might have a bare spot where it might be grounding out on the vehicle somewhere.

92 toyota 4runnner a/c fuse location

The AC system utilizes 4 fuses.

They are: a 10 amp AC, a 10 amp GAUGE, a 40 amp HEATER and a 30 amp CDS FAN

The 40 and the 30 will be found under the hood, in the fuse box, the two ten amp fuses are in the fuse box under the dash.

Hope this helps, and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Power windows

#1 first of all make sure the lock out button is not activated, for child safety. #2 I would get a cheap tester light and make sure you are getting good power at the controller and at the motor. Also check your ground you might have a bad ground. If none of these tips work you can hot wire the motor to make sure you got a good one but you need to know witch slots to put the jumper wire in to test it out . Find a Friend who knows how to do it and seek help. Hope that helps. Debby
