Question about 2000 Volkswagen Beetle
2000 beetle driver side headlight out. brights work. replaced bulb. no change in prob. would this mean it's likely an electrical problem?
Check the physical connections on the bulb connectors. I have had this problem before as well. More than likely the bulb connectors are dirty/corroded and need to be cleaned. A smile flat metal file should do the trick to clean the connectors. After you do that, be sure to put some dielectric grease on all the connections to keep them making good contact with the connections on the bulb.
