Question about 1999 Jeep Grand Cherokee
My ABS light stays on and I hear a 'ding' while I'm driving. The light is always on. The dinging is sporadically. I hit a car about a year ago. Noting was damaged... It was more like a tap. The dash was fine after the accident- it started months afterwards so it may not be connected.
Also, my right blinker blinks twice as fast as it should.
I've had the ABS problem several times, and each time it was a failing wheel speed sensor.

The easy part first...the blinker flashing fast means one of the bulbs is burned out and needs replaced.
the abs light being on is the more difficult to resolve. it is telling you that something is wrong in the abs system. you need to find a dealer or reputable garage to pull the codes to give you a direction to go as how to repair.
