Question about 2000 Cadillac DeVille
I'm driving Cadillac with 135 K miles. Last year
I ran in the problem with draining battery. After testing on dealership my
alternator and battery were replaced. Because I’m driving this car everyday I
did not catch this issue but when my car was in garage for one day (24 hours)
battery was almost dead and car would not start and even crank the engine. I
put charger on it and after that it was ok. But my car would not start after
sitting for around 12 hours. I’m coming to work at 6 AM and when I’m leaving at
6 PM, battery almost dead. Charging system is working good and board computer
showing 14.5 – 14.8 W. I bought this car used and it was aftermarket radio in
it. After mechanics suggestions I just removed it from the car but it did not
help. What it could be?
Second issue is my fuel gage. When I start my car in the morning it showing right level of fuel but when I start driving gage is going creasy and showing almost full tank. Looks like first half of tank it showing right level but when it’s going below mid of the tank it showing opposite level and up to full tank mark. I’m watching my fuel by millage but it’s real pain in the back.
And third problem is SECURITY light. Sometimes after I start my car light is staying on. After I restart my car light is going away. It does not happened to often but it does.
I spend time and money on dealership diagnostics but no results.
If somebody has any idea or suggestion pleases response.
