Are the window regulators from the front driver door and front passenger door interchangeable on a 2002 kia rio rx-v? If they are i'll save the 70 bucks, and have a back window not open instead of a front one.

put fuse back in disconnect batt wait 60 seconds re attach, when the horn starts honking lock and unlock drivers door with the key while doors closed window down. get in car and start it, should be fine now.
It is either the window regulator or the switch. If the switch at the driver's door goes bad it can effect the switch at the passenger door too. And there is no way to test this easily, without taking the switch out and hot wiring the window regulator at the door. If the window worked the problem would be the switch. If it still didn't work, it would be the window motor or regulator assembly in side the door. Hope this helps. Have a nice day :O)
its not easy i wont lie to u i have a 2002 kia rio and ive removed the alternator 6 times the real trick is to take ur front passenger tire off and jack the car up high enough to have some wiggle room underneath. when u disconnect everything, youll want to face the alternator pretty much upside down and u just have to wiggle it out past your drive shaft and control arm
one of the sensors in the door pillars has come loose.rear door is a problem as you will need to remove panel from inside to release mechanism, sometimes it can be done by lowering window , remove the rubber strips either side of window and with a coat hanger pulling the lever on the lock.if your lucky ,better off calling out your local mobile mechanic to open door for you
