Question about 2002 Chevrolet Impala
I have a 2002 Impala that just died while making a left turn caused me to run off the road into a yard due to loss of breaks & stearing. Car started right back up when I turned the key.
Thank you for any thoughts.
If you were to turn the ignition off when you are driving it would do the same thing. My guess is that a critical ignition wire is either shorting or coming loose when inertia exists through your left turn.
In park turn the wheel all the way to the left. Did the car die? Try wiggling the red wires connecting through the starter, battery, and such with the engine running. Also try wiggling the wires through the steering column to the ignition.
