oil pressure gauge doesnt take time to rise while cranking

  • linecrosser Jan 12, 2009

the injectors buzz as normal when you turn the key on.If this information will help, I was on even road and I hit a  pothole, but not a big one for the size of tyres I have  on my truck. It was then that 200 feet down the road the engine died.Could something have been jolted resulting in power to the injector solenoid being isolated or its just my imagination gone wild out of desperation

it sound like the roll over switch.... in case of an accident or collision cars have a switch that shuts off at impact preventing fuel pumping into the engine... u never know broke fuel hose at an accident if it's draining fuel it'll be terrible.

I had the same problem with my '05 F350, it's the Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM). My dealer replaced it under warranty, and even picked up the tow!!!!!!!!!

That's good but it still doesn't rule out a leak in the high pressure oil system. When you turn on the key do the injectors buzz like normal? Usually 5-10 secs

sounds like your injector pump is weak. next time it dies and wont start try ice on the pump, if this helps you have a bad pump

Shut 05 Ford f350 diesel off wont start

when you get a code the PCM will keep that code and till it get easased. you need a scaner or disconect your battery for 1h. this should clear your codes. when the battery is disconected don't sit in your can. the air bags may deploy if you hit the steering collem or a sensor to hard. just let it sit. reatach your battery then try to start your truck. if the codes are still pressent you make need let the car sit for longer or bit the big one and get the shop to do it.

F350 no start

I have a feeling you got a wholed of unleaded fuel or bad fuel
I drive a diesel box truck the station I always took it to the fuelman put unleaded in the diesal tanks and the truck just died it had to have the gas tank completed drained and cleaned out but also ask yourself how many miles are on it and when was last tune up and if you live in a cold climate I recommend a heater block plug
