Question about 1984 Toyota Starlet
I do have a toyota 4K engine, not so sure of the exact model of it, which kinda old. I should say almost 15 years. I just want to ask your expertise and recommendation of what type of motor oil should I use for my 4K engine? Thanks in advance.
If you use a Toyota 4K engine, most manufacturers both engine and oil companies recommend a 20W-50 GRADE motor oil. We recommend Castrol. However, Castrol is kinda expensive. Try Petron Philippines products that can be purchased at their gasoline station shops. Castrol ranges from 800-850 (4-liters) while Petron oil products ranges from 490-550 only (4 liters). They both share the same addtives for 20W-50 oil grade.
