Question about 2003 Ford Ranger Regular Cab
When I shut off my car, the inside light stays on for a good 10 min. after.
Its actually a censor. You will need to take the truck in to have it fixed. It wont kill your battery or anything like that, its just annoying I know. My truck does it every now and then, and my Grandpa's truck did it all the time. He just had it fixed and it stopped. Good luck.

10 min. Sounds excessive to me too. You should consult your owners manual to make sure there isnt a personality setting than can be programed to correct this. After that i would consult the dealer.
