Question about 2000 Jeep Cherokee
I have had my vehicle for five year. In the last two years it has been cycling the engine light on and off a couple of weeks at a time. I have had it into my mechanic several times for this and he tells me the same thing every time, it is showing a "Small EVAP leak". He says that he has had it on the smoke machine and cannot find anything. He replaced my charcoal filter a mont ago and the light came right back on less than a week being out of the shop. The light has been on for over a month straight at this point. Can there be another solution that he is missing?
If he really is smoke testing it he must not be looking to hard. im assuming hes using smoke that has dye in it. if not find someone who does and have them recheck it using a black light. the leak will become visible at that point
