Question about 1999 Pontiac Montana
I recently purchased a 1999 pontiac montana used from a dealership. My locks and windows is power and so is my sliding door on passenger side. It has a button to push to open and close the door. I was just wandering how to know if i can get a keyless remote and were i would go about getting one. thank you.
You have to go to the dealership where they will order you one.(You will have to supply the VIN number to them) The cost is around 100.00 CDN If you require a key made it has to be programmed first before attempting to use it because if you try and use it and it does not work it will lock up your ignition and then you will have to pay labour costs to have them undo it. The 1999 Montana has a anti theft chip built in (this is the blue light that flashes...looks like an alarm is on) so if anyone tried to put a key in the ignition that is not programmed for that vehichle it locks it up.

If this is a Factory installed System You will have to get it from the Dealer. If not, You need to find out Who the Manufacturer is of the System and Contact them for a Replacement.
