First, check the fuse for the blower motor. If ok, you may have a bad switch or bad blower motor. If you are a techie, you should jumper 12 volts to the blower motor hot terminal. see if it blows then. You also have a blower motor resister that gives you the 4 blower speeds, but usually when it fails, you have high speed only.

good luck

Heat and air condition fan stopped working on my 2004 Dodge Dakota, does not blow, ice is comming in and i need to be able to defrost my windshield and heat my truck

First thing to check is the fuse. There will be one under the hood and another in the interior fuse box. The 2004 model does nt have a relay. If the fuse is good, you need to check to see if the blower motor is good. The motor is located under the glove compartment area of the dash, near the firewall. Disconnect the harness from the blower motor, and using jumper wires, apply voltage directly to the blower motor contacts. If the blower motor works, then the switch is bad. If the blower still does not work then the motor is bad.

Heater blower motor not working for dodge dakota 2004 4x4 4.7 quad cab

try picking up a blower motor resistor, about 10-20 dollars at a local part store. then check this blog out. I have replaced 4 in my 2004 dakota, Takes about 10 minutes to replace, located on passanger side of truck above floor.

2004 Dodge Dakota: Heat has stopped blowing. Sounds like vent doors are switching on and off okay. A/C does not blow now either.

The blower motor is on the passengers side under the dash. There is a blower resistor module that goes bad.It controls the blower speeds and blower operation only.I believe this is your problem.I am not sure if you can get this at any parts store. You have to get it at the dealership.Hope this helps.Good luck.

1999 Dodge Dakota heater does not blow hot air.

It is most likely a closed or mostly closed thermostat, cheap fix and very common.
