Water in the passenger foot well, or coolant? Press a paper towel to the floor and see if the water is green. If so, then you have a leaking heater core. A heater core is pretty cheap, but the labor or installing one is pretty intense.

If it's just water then do you notice this more after it rains? If so, then it could mean the drainage system for your cowl is clogged and is causing it to back up into the vehicle.

Leaks antifreeze could it be the heater core?

That depends on whether or not you also notice some leakage into the passenger compartment footwells. If the heater core has failed, the coolant tends to fill the front footwells, particularly on the passenger side.

One thing that I have seen multiple times, though, is the water pump tends to leak, particularly if it is the original pump. They have a high pattern failure rate.

Water in the rear passenger footwell

Not unless it was blowing like stink. Was a rear window left open? Water could get in around the rear window and find it's way there. Have someone spray the car with a hose while you're in it or ride back there through a car wash. Have a friend help and you buy the treat.
