1994 s10 blazer 4x4 passenger side rear turn signal / brake light

I have a 94 blazer 4x4 with a digital dash and tilt steering column. My problem is with the passenger side rear turn signal and brake light. They started not to work at times, but then would start back working. I don't know why it would stop or what would cause it to work again. All I know is now it has stopped and has been several weeks. I replaced the bulb and checked to see if socket was getting any power (which it wasn't) . It also doesn't work when the emergency flashers are on. All other lights work as they should. Could anyone help me with this problem?

Were you able to fix it? I have exactly the same problem with my 1994 S10 blazer 4x4. The passenger side blinker would work sometimes, but mostly not. I finally got around to taking off the cover to see what's going on and the bulb is totally melted into the socket. Obviously this could be the problem, but I'm wondering if some wiring or socket problem caused it to melt. It's melted in there so much I can't get the base of the bulb out.

If you were able to solve your problem, can you post an update?

    Thanks.

check for chauffed wiring under dash around steering column and brake pedal, as for your rear brake/side light you have probably put the bulb in the wrong position remove bulb and rotate and retry

There are 2 flasher relays. One for the turn signals and one for the hazard lights. Turn Signal Flasher is located on the driver's side, under dash, mounted on upper passenger side of steering column support. Hazard Flasher is located same place only it is mounted on the driver's side of the steering column.

My turn signals and flashers do not work

under the dash near the steering column will be a unit called the electronic flasher module (don't know exact location as it varies, but it will be labeled). It sounds like the unit has gone bad

It's behind the dash panel just below the steering column. There are two relays for the fuel pump back there. Chande them both out.
