Why not have 1 more scan done by a Chrysler/Jeep dealer. Sounds to me like the garage is lost on this one. Get a quote on diagnosis scan, doesn't mean you have to commit to repairs right away. I've seen more than one mechanic who had a scan tool, but didn't know what to do next when it comes to diagnosis.

Trouble codes for 2003 Chevy Blazer

Code 155 is for a problem with the heater circuit in the O2 sensor for bank two. Bank two is on the side with cylinder number two.
Usually the sensor is faulty, but the heater circuit would need to be checked to be sure. The sensor has a built-in heater to get it hot quickly after starting the engine.

I have a 2001 dodge dakota with engine light on. Code P1762 says ECM detected the off set voltage was out of spec for more than 3 seconds. That is an explanation of Gov. pressure sensor voltage too h

There is an issue where the oxygen sensor that is after the catalytic converter can short out internally in the heater circuit and cause a voltage to feed back into the transmission. This in turn can cause the error that you are describing. The best this and cheapest thing to do is replace the sensor and see if the code comes back. If it does then you are looking at a possible transmission issue.

Problem was diagnosed as the po155 oxygen sensor heater circuit bank 2 sensor 1 causing the check engine tocome on and stay on.

yes the O2 heater in the sensor will make the CEL come on because the computer is not receiving proper signal from the sensor.

I have a code p1762 for my 97 jeep grand cherokee

Trouble code P1762 means: Governor pressure sensor offset improper voltage. Gov. Pressure Sensor. It is located in the valve body of the transmission and requires dropping the transmission pan to replace. Sounds much more difficult than it is. Since you have to change your fluid it's a good idea to change the trans. filter .

Diagnostics "P1762 Manufac. Contrl. Transmission"

Had the same code on my 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee. Started having shifting problems as well. Code is for governor pressure sensor on trans. Cost me about $800 for dealer to fix. No problems after part changed out.

P1762

Looks like the fautl code refers to the stuck solenoid on the shift control valve which is in the valve body.
It is a job that requires lots of precision and probably if you take the valve body out you'll need a plan to reassemble it...I would suggest getting it to a specialist.
Cheers
