Question about 2005 Ford Futura
I have a 2000 Ford Falcon AUII were is the external fuel filter located i need to replace it as the car jerks as if starved of fuel im guessing its dirty and becoming blocked.
the first time i sent this the system overloaded and i had to try again
it is located under the car just behind the diff right up high with push fuel joiners(possibly thread on one end) when i had the same problem, it was infact the fuel pump, because the AU use a fuel pump that requires fuel as a lubricant, it is located in a small pot in the fuel tank that is filled from your return line. if you run low on fuel they tend to run dry and wear out. i tested my pump pressure by fitting a VL inline injection pump. as this worked i replaced the fuel pump(which in an AU is a very nasty job) and have had no problems

There may be two, check on the left side of the engine bay if there is not one there there will be a metal one just outside the fuel tank most likely running along the chassis follow the lines, behind your rear passenger wheel.
