How many eng. Sensors on a 2000 GMC safari 4.3L Replaced mass air flow crankshaft sensor and ck eng. Lite still on. What's next O2 sensor? Thanks

Have it scanned so we can try to pinpoint the issue before you spend money on a nonissue. Codes can direct you to the circuit or sensor problem.

How to Diagnose a P0135 -Heater
Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1 (GM 3.5L)

image_1.gifIf your check engine light is on and you have a diagnostic trouble code P0135 stored in the PCM's memory... then you've come to the right place to test and troubleshoot the upstream oxygen sensor.
A P0135 DTC says: HO2S Heater Performance Bank 1 Sensor 1... and this means that the PCM (Powertrain Control Module = Fuel Injection Computer) has detected a problem with the front oxygen sensor's heater element or a problem in the heater's circuit (wires).
In this tutorial, I'll show you how to check the oxygen (O2) sensor's heater element and the two circuits that feed it with power (10 to 12 Volts) and ground with a multimeter.
In case you're wondering, where the oxygen (O2) sensor that the code P0135 is accusing of being BAD is... this bad boy is located on the exhaust manifold and before the catalytic converter.
To help you navigate this article, here are its main points:

2000 outback check engine light on all the time, changed front o2 sensor, changed fuel cap, unplugged battery, and none turn this light off.\r\n any suggestion?

You have to hook an OBD 2 scan tool up to the data link connector and check to see what code is present. If you have a knock sensor code, you need to replace the knock sensor. If you get a P0420: Catalyst system efficiency below threshold, you will need to replace your catalytic converter. But if it is nothing important, the only way to clear a check engine light is with a scan tool. You can usually go to any aftermarket parts store and they will check and clear you codes and light for free. I hope this info helps.

I have a 05 jeep wrangler the eng light is on comp says o2 senes b1 & b2 high voltage 250 km to a tank

If the oxygen sensors on the vehicle are faulty then that could easily cause the poor fuel economy. Replace both of the O2 sensors and clear the code with a scan tool. You should start getting better fuel economy. I hope this was helpful.

Nothing seems to be happening at this time except the check engine light comes on. We checked it with the OB2 and received the PO161 code and erased it, it came back on in a day.

That code is probably for the tundra, I see alot of those with that problem, thankfully toyota will cover the front o2 sensor under warranty however not the back "bank 2 sensor 2"

When replacing this be sure to use a DENSO sensor to ensure it will last as long as possible.

    2000RS 2.35/4G64 sluggish,rough idle,poor MPG,check eng light momentarily

Sounds like an O2 sensor, go to An autoparts store like Schuck's, Autozone, or O'Reilys, and they will be able to a free scan for you, and tell you what your check engine light is on for. Or if it isn't on they could still tell you if it's a bad O2 sensor by reading the live data levels. Good Luck! :)
