Question about 1999 Chevrolet Blazer
The gas gauge doesn't work properly and because of this I ran out of gas a couple of times. After that I began to have trouble starting it, It would turn over but not start. If I let it sit for a minute or two it would finally start. Now it just turns but will not start at all. Not sure if it the fuel pump, fuel filter or injectors. Are there any other possibilities? Please help & Thanks !!
Fuel sender unit causes bad gas guage. it is an integrated assembly with the fuel pump...you have to pull the tank and replace the fuel pump. this would explain both problems, and is a common chevy problem. get a used one at a junkyard, probably cost you 100 bucks instead of 800 for a new pump.

BASH THE LIVING **** OUT OF IT!!! thats a teenagers answer to everything, i know.. BUT it works. get a rubber mallet.. hit the bottom of the gas tank right below the fuel pump. mine did it for 3 months. still running strong.

Try to bang the gas tank with your fist a few times then see if it starts if so buy a new pump may be a complete module
